Whenever you make a decision to pursue something you’ve never achieved before, you’re stepping beyond your present conditioning and into the unknown. It’s natural to experience fear, doubt and worry, particularly when the goal requires you to think, feel and act in ways that are unfamiliar.
This is what Bob Proctor taught as the Terror Barrier, the psychological conflict between your existing self-image and the person you are becoming.
The fear doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve made the wrong decision. It may be a sign that you’re growing.
