But here’s the truth:
The goal you’re working towards should be worthy of you.
Worthy of you waking up each day with the intention to grow.
Worthy of pulling more out of you that maybe even you haven’t met yet.
This isn’t about setting goals just to achieve more.
It’s about setting the kind of C-type goals that demand you expand, that call you forward into the next version of yourself.
As Bob Proctor used to say, most people are tiptoeing through life, hoping to make it safely to death.
But not you.
Not the leaders I work with.
You want to slide in sideways, having lived fully, led powerfully, and left a legacy you’re proud of.
That’s why your age, business status, or past results are irrelevant.
What matters is this:
Where are you going next?
What legacy do you want to leave?
What standards do you want to hold?
Even if you’ve already built a strong life, career, or business, you’ll have to keep growing just to sustain it.
Because growth is the only way to stay in momentum.
If you’re not growing, you’re moving into disintegration.
That’s not my theory, that’s universal law.
When you stop setting meaningful, challenging goals, you slip into settling for less. And over the next 12, 18, or 36 months… your standard begins to drop.
So when you catch yourself thinking, “I don’t need anything more” or “I’m happy with what I’ve got”, ask yourself:
What’s it costing me to stay still?
